OMG how funny. Just saw you post something about bacon on Twitter. So I clicked on you and lo and behold you wrote about the bacon bar.
I went to Surfas tonight (restaurant supply store in Culver City, CA) and saw the Bacon Bar for the first time. Had to bring it home to hubs. He and the baby devoured it.
Maybe not quite enough bacon-y for me -- but I'm a big bacon lover.
That bar is so freaking delicious Brooks. Yum city! It sounds like the weirdest thing, but isn't it delicious?
Ryan and I had one a while back (before we both went vegan) and loved it...
It prompted this weird bacon-sweet stuff kick that we went on for about a week around that time.... He made bacon and peanut butter sandwiches one morning.... and they were sooo yummy.
My Gran'pa taught me the proper way to eat bacon when I was still in the bassinet! We were always the first ones up. The right way is to plop some peanut butter on your ___ (french-toast, pancake, waffle) ooze lots of honey over it, mix it together so that not a single drop will be lost to the plate, poke the bacon, sausage, ham on the mixed PB & H, pick it up and ENJOY!! I have made my breakfast like that ever since.
